Got me a new drumming gizmo this week — Jamstix. Very cool deal that “plays along” with me on the synths. I’ve got a little demo sampler in there for ya. I’m hopeful that we’ll see a Bush-supporting mayor get his butt kicked in my home-town mayoral election tomorrow. And, in keeping with the political theme, some quotes from one of my favorite authors, Carl Hiaasen.

I am a student of broadcast journalism at Merto State University in Denver. I have been chosen to innagurate our podcast department of the news group at metro so I am scanning for casts that I find interesting. Clever: including ‘sex’ in the name of your cast so that prospective subscribers will gain interest, it worked on me, right? The fact that there is ‘no money in podcasting’ is true but not for long (unfortunately or not is up for debate).
Since I’m new to the technology I like to see what other people look at. In the only podcast I heard from you, you said you had “ran out of stuff to say about community podcasting” and “money is a poisinous substance.” both comments interest me. Great to hear from you — glad you enjoyed the Sex and Podcasting rant.
I hope you’ll scroll backward through the rest of the shows and listen to the rest of the S&P episodes — there are something approaching 40 shows in all, in which I expand a lot on the “money” and “community podcasting” themes. S&P is kindof like an audio book — once I got to the end, I stopped.
